Dog Days of Summer

Dog Days of Summer: This week we play an explore with pets! Big pets, small pets, common pets, unusual pets and every kind of pet in between! We get to take care of some special classroom pets and bring a "pretend pet" from home to participate in our very own pet show!
We made fish bowl sun catchers. They were one of our favorite projects for the week.
Our bird in a cage project was a lot of fun! We enjoyed blowing on the birdies and watching them spin on their strings!
Our paper chain snakes were a really big hit! We enjoyed making them and playing with them too!
We all looked super cute in our puppy dog head bands!

Wonderful Wheels

Wonderful Wheels
This week is all about things that go! We are excited to learn about vehicles and how we use them! Thursday will be our Wheels Day and we will have tons of fun!!
We did a little experiment to see how friction would affect our toy cars. We really enjoyed learning about forces that impact vehicles.
Our cardboard tube race cars had sparkly wheels. We were very proud of them!
Irene-playing with her toys.

We played a great make believe game on Monday! We pretended to be at an airport! We liked it a lot!

We cut these paper car models out of paper and put them together with glue and tape.
We had a blast with these airplanes made out of clothes pins and Popsicle sticks.
Our paper plate cars were simple and cute!
