Show and Tell
"B Week" was Bear Day!
"B Week" was Bear Day!
We all brought our teddy bears to show our friends at Show and Tell Time. Belina even brought fruit snacks to share with the class!
"C Week" was our Cookie Exchange!
We each brought cookies to share with our friends. We got to take home a plate of several different kinds of cookies! It was a ton of fun!!!
"D Week" was Dog Day!
We brought stuffed dogs to play with our friends!
"E Week" was Egg Carton Day!
Our 3 yr olds used their egg cartons to make a letter E craft!
Our Kindergarteners turned their egg cartons into Ten Frames, and used them to practice counting and adding!
Working Hard and Learning Bunches!
Our Kindergarteners used white crayons and paint to practice our sight words!
Our Kindergarteners made farm animal books by coloring, writing, and cutting!
Our 7th Grader made a journal about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. She pretended to be a girl escaping with her family.
Our 7th Grader studied this Shark book to find 20 interesting facts about sharks to prepare for her September Homework Project!
Our Preschoolers and Kindergarteners have been doing lots of fun worksheets to practice letters, sounds, writing, numbers, and counting!
Our 7th Grader studied Clara Barton in History. She did several assignments, read a book, and made a diorama complete with clay figures!
We love playing with our Red Rover game. It helps us practice colors, shapes, and numbers!
Science
We did a science experiment with bean seeds to see how they grow. We have been studying plants and reading about them as well.
Lions
We finished up our Lion Unit with a few more projects and some Lion Books!
Fall Weather
We have been enjoying the fall weather by playing in our beautiful playground. We have even managed to make a couple of trips to the park around the corner.
Playing and Learning in Preschool
Counting Down to 100th Day
We are excited for our 100th day of school (after the 1st of the year). We will have a party and practice our counting. Each day we add another scoop of ice cream to our wall!
Halloween at WIA
We made pumpkins and hung them up in our classroom along with our other Halloween decorations.
Vampire Bats
We started learning about Vampire Bats on Friday. We did several worksheets and made some super cool bat masks. We will continue to study bats through the month of October.
Popsicle Sticks
We used popsicle sticks to practice making shapes, letters, and patterns!
